Today's Choice for Tomorrow's Future

Assistant Principals

Mrs. Peterkin

I am Andrie Peterkin and I am so excited to be the one of the NEW Assistant Principals of Eustis Heights Elementary School. Last year, I served as the Instructional Dean and I really enjoyed working with the kids and families in the Eustis community. It’s been such a blessing to be a part of something great!

I am a wife and mother of four beautiful children. My family and I are all proud products of Lake County Schools! I have been an elementary classroom teacher in both Sumter and Lake Counties. I have also served in the roles of Instructional Math Coach, Instructional Dean and now Assistant Principal.

I have a degree in Elementary Education from Florida A & M University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I have been teaching for over 16 years. I am very passionate about making sure every child is receiving a purpose-filled education. It is my daily mission to ensure that the children and teachers of Eustis Heights Elementary are learning in a productive and safe environment, and that every teacher engages every child, every day!

I am thrilled to be a Eustis Height’s Tiger and look forward to a great school year! We are Soaring to New Heights!

Expecting the Best!

Dr. Soos

Hello EHES Families!

I am Dr. Terri Soos and I am SO proud to serve as one of the assistant principals here at Eustis Heights Elementary! I look forward to getting to know each and every student here, building relationships with them, and ensuring I do everything I can to provide them with the absolute best education possible.

Just as I want to instill in our students a passion for learning, I am a lifelong learner myself. After graduating from UCF with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, I taught 3rd and 4th grade at Eustis Elementary. I then earned my Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Florida State University. I have served my school communities in the capacity of an Acceleration Resource Teacher, a Curriculum Resource Teacher, and an Instructional Dean.

For the past two years I have served as an Assistant Principal in the Seminole County School District.  I am thrilled to now be back in Lake County to serve the community that I live in and that I love!

I look forward to working with you, along with the amazing faculty and staff here, throughout this school-year to ensure your child has every available opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve.

This will be an incredible school year as our students SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS!

One Pride,

Dr. Soos
