Annual Asbestos Notification

Asbestos Notification In compliance with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), this is notice that Lake County Schools has an Asbestos Management Plan at the school office as well as the district office. The plan is available for inspection by the public, parents, and district employees. The district performs six month periodic surveillance of all known or suspected asbestos and full re-inspections every three years by a licensed asbestos contractor.
