There will be NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, Friday, September 18th, as our teachers will be participating in a Professional Development Day.
While our Tigers enjoy their day off, our teachers will be busy learning, growing, and sharpening their skills so that we can continue to be ready for our students every single day. At Eustis Heights, we know that when our teachers grow, our students grow too!

Tiger Families, we are off to a GREAT start at Eustis Heights Elementary! The first two weeks have been all about learning routines, building relationships, setting expectations, and finding our rhythm as ONE TEAM.
We’ve launched our House System, strengthened our arrival and dismissal routines, started Safety Patrol, worked on our ROAR expectations, and continued setting HIGH expectations for every Tiger. And we’re just getting started!
As we head into Week 3, it’s time to turn up the focus on ACADEMICS, GROWTH, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, and GREATNESS!
Talk to your Tiger about their goals for this week—and don’t forget to ask them which HOUSE they belong to! ❤️💙💚🖤

This is your Proud Principal and Mama Tiger, Dr. King, and I want to welcome everyone to the first day of what is going to be an amazing school year!
As we prepare for tomorrow, I encourage every family to visit the Eustis Heights Elementary Facebook page. We've posted several updated flyers with important information about arrival, dismissal, transportation, and other first-day procedures. Please take a few minutes this evening to review them so you know exactly what to expect tomorrow.
A few quick reminders:
School doors open at 8:00 a.m., so please do not arrive before that time for the safety and security reasons.
During the first two days of school, Pre-K and Kindergarten parents may walk their child to class to help with a smooth transition.
If your child is a walker, please make sure they are an official walker and are not dropped off at the walker gate from a vehicle.
Car riders should stay in one line, pull all the way forward, and have their car tag visible. We will load students from the passenger side only to help keep dismissal moving safely.
Please remember that there are no teacher conferences in the car line. If you need to speak with your child's teacher, we'll be happy to schedule a better time.
Finally, I want to ask for your patience during these first few days of school. As with any new school year, our arrival and dismissal lines may be a little longer than usual, and we may experience a few bumps along the way. Please know that our staff will be monitoring our procedures, making adjustments, and improving them each day. Our goal is to have everything running as smoothly and efficiently as possible for the remainder of the year.
And who knows... tomorrow may be absolutely perfect!
