I was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. I hold a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Florida A&M University.
I moved to the Eustis area in 2010 and became a US History Teacher at Eustis Middle School. While at Eustis Middle School I was selected by my peers to serve as the 2013 – 2014 Rookie Teacher of the Year. As the Rookie Teacher of the year, I transitioned into the School Counseling position. I then joined the Eustis Heights School family in the summer of 2019 and I’m excited to call EHES home.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children and I’m a huge fan of relaxing on the beach, listening to boring podcasts, reading, and throwing kindness around like its confetti.
I’m looking forward to working with the students, parents, teachers, and community members at Eustis Heights Elementary School!
Hello, Eustis Heights family I am so excited to be here. I am a licensed Mental Health Clinician. My passion is to help students and families feel supported, be happy and successful. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the City University of New York Lehman College. I then earned my Master’s Degree in school and mental health counseling from Webster University. My professional experiences include school counseling and a children’s therapist at a community mental health agency. My goal is to ensure our students identify and cope with issues they may experience in a healthy way.
