Bless Fruitland Park, a community group started in 2014, has launched the "Project Generosity" campaign to raise money and resources for Fruitland Park and Beverly Shores elementary schools. Usually, the focus is on Fruitland Park Elementary, but this year Beverly Shores students have moved into the old Fruitland Park facility while their school is being renovated and Fruitland Park students have moved onto a new campus. The goal is to raise $15,000 during Generosity Week, Aug. 10-17, and divide the money between the two schools.
Over the past 9 years, the group has raised more than $155,000 in cash and other resources for Fruitland Park Elementary.
